Now that’s a Castle

Our rental property was between Carcassonne and Limoux and so we spent a lovely few days lying by the pool and then heading to one or the other for lunch or dinner. Carcassonne is best either early in the morning or in the evening, avoiding the majority of the tourists. We had a fabulous lunch in Carcassonne with Alex & Amy at Chez Christine with delicious food and a rosé so pale it was almost white and then went back to Brasserie a 4 Temps for another great meal. Limoux gave us a long lazy lunch at Le Grand Cafe in the Place de la Republique

Holidays are made for long lazy lunches
