I can’t believe it’s a year since Catering turned 60. It’s been a blast helping him celebrate, but today he’s 61 and so we’ll have to think of another reason to keep on having a good time. May have to corral my employer’s centenary as 2026’s reason to celebrate. Anyway, we are currently on holiday in Sri Lanka and Catering has been lucky enough to turn 61 at the loveliest place, Kayaam House near Tangalle. If you are ever in the vicinity try to make time to stay there. It is a little piece of paradise on the edge of the Indian Ocean, with fabulous facilities, the most professional & thoughtful staff and great food to boot. We found out about it through the Smallest Boy. One of the people he deals with through work is Sri Lankan and recommended it to us and I am passing on the intel in the hope that you get the chance to visit.
