Cos you’ve gotta have friends…

The time we spent living and working in Asia meant that we were lucky enough to accumulate a diverse range of friends, many of whom we don’t get to see very often – literally years can go by between meetings, but that doesn’t mean that we love you less. This trip has reminded me of how lucky we are to have collected such a great group of people over the years who are funny, kind and extremely generous. We are so grateful to those of you who on this trip have both put us up and put up with us. You have fed & watered us and even let us loose on your friends (I felt like an honorary Canadian after our Saint-Paul-de-Vence stay) and families (thank you Tom for your patience when teaching a bunch of Oldies how to play UNO). We have had some of the loveliest drinks, lunches and dinners catching up with you all.

Great lunch overlooking Grasse – thank you Nick & Kevin.

Not a bad place to rest your head for a few days – beautiful La Sonine. Thank you Tim & Juliet for having us to stay

Thank you Holloways for your hospitality in Le Rouret.
